A miracle is defined as:
(1) an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs
(2) an extremely outstanding or unusual event, thing, or accomplishment
(Merriam-Webster Dictionary)
For 155 passengers of US Airways flight 1549 a miracle occurred when their plane landed in the Hudson River without any life lost. There are some that will claim that this event had nothing to do with a miracle, but I'll have to respectfully disagree. How do you explain what took place? How do you explain the numerous heroes that came forward to help? "An extremely outstanding event" happened that day - 155 people survived a crash landing.
Now if that's not a miracle - what is?
